Quentin Allums (Q) wasn’t always the charismatic content creator we know today. Q went through trial and error on multiple social platforms before he finally found success on LinkedIn. With this success, Q started his own business and found the rhythm he had been searching for. Q’s life seemed on the up and up until 2019, when his little brother passed. Before even getting the opportunity to cope with his grief, COVID-19 and the BLM movement struck the nation, and Q lost his business. It was grief on top of grief and caused a massive shift in how Q viewed the world.
Q took this shift, took his life into his own hands, and began working for someone who had the life he wanted: Louis House. Through working with Louis, Q discovered that though big influencers are special in their own way, ultimately, they’re just humans, and anyone could do it if they really tried. In this episode of GoGedders, Q shares the lessons he learned in creating his own personal brand, the common misconceptions to creating a personal brand, and some advice on how you can do it too.
