Last week, I hesitantly made a Facebook post about my anxiety. I was inspired by all of the responses and questions the post received, so I felt compelled to put it out on the podcast.
You can only dive so deep on social media, and I can use myself as an example for anyone dealing with a similar situation.
Two and a half years ago, I had a full-blown panic attack when the plane I was on stalled on the tarmac. It changed my life in several ways; routine tasks and activities like elevators, going to crowded events, and flying now sparked anxiety.
After being in and out of therapy, discovering breathwork techniques, and working to create a new version of myself, I finally flew medication-free for the first time since the initial panic attack.
This podcast goes deep into my history with anxiety and the methods I use to get better. I think anyone can apply these to mental (and sometimes even physical) health issues they’re going through themselves.
